Self force from equivalent periodic sources [PDF]
Barak KolThis paper defines periodic sources which reproduce the self-force and radiation at a given frequency due to an aperiodic orbit around a black hole. The zero frequency component is within the conservative sector. The equivalent sources are extended and hence alleviate the regularization problem.
