Signature Change in Noncommutative FRW Cosmology    [PDF]

The circumstances in which a classical continuous change of signature is possible, are investigated for a cosmological model described by FRW metric coupled with a self interacting scalar field, having a noncommutative phase space of dynamical variables. Physical parameters such as cosmological constant, mass of the scalar field, and coefficient of the potential term are related with each other through the parameters of noncommutativity. The model is then quantized in a systematic way and a good correspondence is shown between the classical and quantum cosmology.
